Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Director of IT Workplace Products & Services to lead the delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise end-user technology services. This role will oversee PC-as-a-Service (PCaaS), IT asset lifecycle management, and enterprise print services, while advancing the company’s digital workplace strategy.
The Director will ensure employees at every level— from the manufacturing floor to the executive suite — benefit from a seamless, reliable, and cost-effective technology experience. This leader will champion service excellence, vendor accountability, and innovation to empower productivity across a global workforce.
Essential Functions:
- Define and execute the long-term vision for Workplace Services, aligning with organizational goals and modern digital workplace trends.
- Lead strategic initiatives to improve service maturity, operational efficiency, and end-user satisfaction.
- PC-as-a-Service (PCaaS): Manage the full lifecycle of end-user devices, ensuring streamlined, cost-effective procurement, deployment, support, refresh, and retirement.
- Asset Management: Oversee enterprise-wide hardware and software asset management to ensure compliance, accuracy, and optimal utilization of IT resources.
- Print Services: Direct the global multifunction printer (MFP) environment, ensuring reliability, cost control, and strong user experience.
- Lead contract negotiations, vendor selection, and performance management across hardware, software, print, and support providers.
- Drive accountability to SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs, ensuring maximum value from supplier partnerships.
- Champion process standardization, automation, and self-service enablement across workplace services.
- Establish best practices and governance to reduce costs, improve service consistency, and accelerate response times.
- Embed a service-oriented, employee-first mindset across the Workplace Services team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proven experience managing PCaaS, IT asset management, print services, and site IT support in a distributed enterprise.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills with a record of holding providers accountable.
- Success leading cross-functional teams within a global, matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; effective at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations and C-suite executives strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Prior experience in Digital, modern, IT Workplace products and services.
- ITIL v4 certification (Managing Professional or higher).
- Background in service delivery management, IT operations leadership, or business relationship management.
- Strong financial acumen and cost management capabilities.
- Skilled in change management and driving cultural transformation.
