Job Description:
The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Sr.Associate, Quality Analyst to join our facility in Huntsville, AL. The Associate Quality Analyst will perform a variety of documentation and data mining related activities including review and approval of hardware documentation packages and development and maintenance of analytical tools for process monitoring or investigative activities. Requires interfacing with multiple disciplines (quality, design, manufacturing, customer, and government personnel). Requires general use and application of quality concepts, practices and techniques in an electronic database focused work environment.
Essential Functions:
Analyzes hardware documentation to verify compliance with purchase orders, engineering drawings, processes, specifications, etc.
Investigates discrepancies of received documentation and assists the QE in resolution.
Assists with and creates hardware acceptance documentation.
Coordinates MRB activities for hardware and creates statistical analyses of various defects.
Creates plans and procedures for, and manages the flow of, hardware build documentation through the build cycle.
Assists in the corrective action process.
Interfaces with internal and external customers (e.g. engineering, manufacturing, supplier, procurement) to ensure requirements are met.
Develops, maintains, and investigates analytical reports and dashboards in an Oracle Business Intelligence environment to provide real-time process health monitoring capabilities and detailed analyses in various subject areas, as requested by Quality Engineering or Q&MA management.
Creates and maintains databases, queries and reports as required by management.
Remote within commuting distance to our Huntsville, AL location.
Eligible to obtain US Security Clearence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of prior related data analysis experience. Master's Degree with 0-2 years of prior related data analysis experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related data analysis experience.
Requires 1 year of experience with Microsft Office, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
Preferred Addtional Skills:
Data analytics experience.
Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO 9001 environment
Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis
Strong Communication skills.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $48,500-$188,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $55,500-$102,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
