Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Program Manager to lead multi-functional teams in the execution of Project Goldeneye. Additionally, the Program Manager will be expected to assist in directing all phases of the transformational projects within supply chain. A background with experience leading multifunctional non-hardlined teams with a geographically dispersed teams is strongly preferred for this position. The Program Manager is responsible for the cost, schedule, resourcing, and performance of assigned programs by leading teams including Product Line/Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Quality, Security, and others. Program Managers are expected to demonstrate team building, leadership, and communication skills by building relationships of trust with their teams, customers, peers, and leadership, and to effectively communicate with confidence including regular presentations and status updates to leadership. Develop and Deliver Program Execution, Agile methodologies, and tools (IT), new roadmaps. This role aims to be the single point of contact/ lead as well as briefing/reporting to Sectors, Segment and Corporate.
Essential Functions:
- Subject matter expert with comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of program management.
- Direct all phases of the program from inception through completion.
- Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives
- Responsible for the cost, schedule and performance of special projects within Supply Chain.
- Acts as primary contact for program activities, leading program review sessions discuss cost, schedule, technical performance and risk.
- Leads Program Risk Management to identify and mitigate risks that could impact program technical, cost and schedule performance.
- Responsible for managing and driving key performance indicators of cost, schedule, and performance requirements of programs through the life-cycle phases of development, implementation, and operations to meet and exceed objectives
- Lead development and maintenance of an active and proactive risk management program
- Responsible for budget management and financial execution of the program
- Develop and manage accurate programmatic and financial forecasts
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
- Travel up to 25%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior program management experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- General understanding of Supply Chain Concepts
- Prior experience managing programs
- Prior experience with Country of Origin and electronic components
- Master’s in Business Administration
- PMI-Project Management Professional Certification
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $130,500-$242,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $150,000-$278,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
