Job Description:
The Senior Specialist, HRBP partners with Corporate leaders across Engineering, Operations, and Government and Customer Relations to execute talent, leadership development, and organizational strategies that drive business performance. Reporting to the Director, HRBP, this role translates business priorities into actionable HR initiatives, leading talent management, leadership development programs and organizational effectiveness efforts. This role collaborates across HR and the business to deliver solutions, using workforce insights to inform decisions, while directly supporting managers and employees on performance and employee relations.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with the HR Director to execute HR strategies aligned to enterprise priorities
- Lead Operations and Engineering Leadership Development initiatives, including management of OLDP / ELDP programs, development of a scalable leadership framework across Operations non-executive levels, and coordination of cross- segment rotation opportunities for all supported functions
- Drive end-to-end talent management, including recruitment of non-executive leaders, and support for talent review, succession planning, and workforce planning processes
- Support international employee relations, including expat assignments and local employees
- Enable strong manager and team performance by coaching leaders on performance management, accountability, and team effectiveness while fostering a high-performing environment
- Leverage workforce data and insights (engagement, metrics, trends) to inform recommendations and support business decision-making
- Support organizational effectiveness and change, including restructurings, workforce transitions, and process improvements
- Partner across HR and the business (COEs, HR Operations, segment HR and stakeholders) to deliver consistent, aligned HR solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in Aerospace & defense, manufacturing, engineering, or other highly regulated industries preferred
- Previous experience supporting functions at a corporate level or within a centralized organization
- Proven knowledge across core HR disciplines, including talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and employee relations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect talent strategies to functional and financial performance
- Agile and resilient, able to manage shifting priorities and thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments
- Experience operating effectively in complex, matrixed organizations
- Ability to independently manage moderately complex assignments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong analytical mindset: ability to leverage workforce data and tools to generate insights and influence executive decision-making
- Experience navigating compliance-heavy environments (e.g., government contracting, security requirements, labor relations where applicable)
