Job Description:
In this role you will design, develop, and integrate embedded cellular software for low SWAP RF products developed within our Tactical Missions Division. You and your team will support all phases of the software lifecycle, including refining requirements, software implementation, integration, debugging. This opportunity also includes embedded tasks involved in custom hardware bring-up and integration as you work as part of a larger team dedicated to developing products to support the customer mission.
Essential Functions:
- Working with a team responsible for design, code, and testing enhancements to functionality within an existing cellular protocol stack.
- Cellular protocol stack development is within layers 1-3 but primary targets layer 2 (MAC, RLC, PDCP) across the GSM, UMTS, LTE, and NR protocols
- Developing OO C++ software for TI DSPs and ARM processors in support of ISR missions in the RF domain
- Top Secret Clearance requires US Citizenship
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technologies, or related discipline with 9 years of software experience; or 7 years relevant software experience with a Graduate Degree. In lieu of degree, 13 years of software experience.
- Proficient in C/C++ object-oriented design and development
- Experience with code composer and developing for TI DSPs
- Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance or willing to obtain one
- Experience with use of cellular domain, protocols, and stack
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with git, Atlassian development tools, and the Linux environment
