Job Description:
Develop and administer security programs, policies, and procedures as the appointed Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), and alternate COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO). Conduct Security audits on requirements for over 450 L3Harris personnel and subcontractor personnel. Prepare and conduct security indoctrination and education training for newly cleared employees and upgraded clearance status. Provide the security interface with government security personnel, contracting officers, and program management teams. Review program requirements for cleared personnel and ensure programs are allotted adequate government cleared personnel.
Essential Functions:
·Coordinate SCI nominations with government security personnel for L3Harris and subcontractor personnel.
·Meet weekly with the Program Management Team to provide updated status on pending government actions.
·Perform Appointed Contractor Special Security Officer with all associated duties.
·Leads compliance with the NISPOM Rules by assessing contract cleared personnel requirements and ensuring staff is removed from program billets when no longer needed.
·Participate in annual DCSA security audit and self-inspections.
·Develop and maintain continuity binder outlining current requirements for fingerprint transmission, personnel security, and CAC processing.
·Provide backup for COMSEC, badging, and document control functions when necessary.
·implement security policy and direction consistent with the Company and Government regulations.
·Maintain awareness of changes in government procedures and policies as it relates to security management of DOD programs and facilities.
·Meet regularly with government special security office personnel regarding personnel matters.
·Remain current on procedures and policy for the use of Security Information Management Systems pertaining to government security clearance actions (SIMS, DISS, NBIS, SCINET, SWFT, JADE, etc)
·Responsible for ensuring candidates meet eligibility requirements and are aligned with adjudicative guidelines to mitigate risk to the government and that accurate paperwork and information is submitted to the customer
·Act as an advocate for the security program, using sound communication expertise and working with senior level managers to accomplish mission
Qualifications:
·Active top secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
·Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
·Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience.
·In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

·Quickly adapt to changing regulations and environment.
·Excellent Communication Skills both spoken and written.
·Subject Matter Expert on the use of Security Information Management Systems pertaining to government security clearance actions (SIMS, DISS, NBIS, SCINET, SWFT, JADE, etc)
·Familiarity with the NISPOM, DOD regulations, Adjudicative Requirements, and Intelligence Community Directives.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $65,500 - $121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
