About your next Challenge as a Verification & Validation (V&V) Specialist:
What will you do:
- Lead Verification and Validation (V&V) activities on systems and subsystems to ensure compliance to contractual requirements;
- Support engineering teams in improving their V&V tasks;
- Take a technical lead role on projects when required;
- Advise personnel within the company on matters concerning V&V and programs;
- Maintain V&V in accordance with established guidelines and standards;
- Accountable for timely and orderly completion of V&V plans and reports as required by the programs;
- Respond to customer issues and inquiries with appropriate sense of urgency and business criticality;
- Prepare V&V reports and work with engineering personnel to address issues;
- Lead changes to V&V-related operating procedures, policies, training materials, and other documents as required by the business;
- Lead the development of internal V&V tools;
- Perform contract reviews in relation to V&V requirements.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
- 5+ years of Verification and Validation (V&V) experience working in a related capacity or an equivalent combination of education and related experience;
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, V&V, Military or Nuclear industry standards are an asset;
- Organizational skills, and cross-group work experience;
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Good MS Office skills, Excel, Word, Outlook;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, an asset;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Bilingual (French and English).
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
