Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AssociateManufacturing Engineering Manager for our Semiconductor Microelectronics Team at our Mason, OH location. As a Semiconductor Associate Engineering Manager at L3Harris you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and manufacturing of advanced components and technologies for defense applications. Your primary focus will be on the fabrication and written instructions for both manufacturing equipment and semiconductor products. You will be responsible in ensuring products meet all production requirements fully and efficiently.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the manufacturing process engineers in process improvement and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful integration of equipment into the production line.
- Work with the team to ensure adequate build instructions are issued and follows all required industry standards.
- Support operations’ evaluations for new and already established equipment and processes as required.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and implement measures to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and yield.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of any issues related to defects to minimize production downtown.
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize tool settings for specific processes.
- Implement and follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations during the installation setup operations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures and calibration guides.
Qualifications:
- Requires practical knowledge of the job area. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Experience in semiconductor equipment engineering, with strong focus on tool installation.
- Proficient in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical issues related to semiconductor equipment.
