As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro1-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.
About the Role
This will be a 16 month co-op term working with our Business Development team focusing on supporting both our Demonstration Asset Team & Demand Management Function.
Primary Responsibilities
- Demonstration Asset Team
- Receive and Process Asset Requests (AR) and update as required.
- Help facilitate workflow approvals
- Work closely with the Demo Project Specialist in planning and executing on demo projects
- Provide status input to Project Specialist in alignment for Project Schedules
- Data Entry and validation into project scheduling tools
- Coordinate Tech Support requirements with Demo Technical Supervisor
- Complete administrative tasks such as internal shipping forms, export applications, bailment contracts and FDA forms
- Track and log project budget values to support the monthly budget forecast and accruals cycle
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional team
- Assist with various Continuous Improvement projects
- Demand Management Team
- Manage daily orders, acceptance and impacts to the forecast
- Generation of internal purchase requisitions for customer spec builds
- Work with the Business Development team to ensure CRM is up to date and accurate
- Responsible for providing end-user support of the CRM application including providing guidance, coaching, and training
- Assist with various Continuous Improvement project
Required Capabilities
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint (MS Office)
- Strong organizational, project management, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player attitude; ability to develop strong working relationships with department representatives, managers and support staff
- Ability to deal directly with internal and external customers
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to appreciate priorities and workflow, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to achieve problem resolution through interaction with customers and internal process owners
Desired Education and Experiences
- University student with a focus in Business
- Must be able to complete a 16 month Co-Op term starting May 2026
- Currently enrolled and in good standing with co-op program through accredited university
- Able to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance
