Role Overview:
As the Lead Systems Engineering: CUOPS/FUOUPS / Surface Range Test Coordinator responsibilites in this role include; plan, develop, synthesize, brief, and execute test plans in accordance with government objectives, coordinating with the range team at Port Hueneme, CA. In this role, you will create long term plans (months in advance) as well as short term plans (days, weeks in advance) to develop coherent, logical, and appropriately scoped events. Additonally duties include, align software state with desired government test objectives, coordinate surface operations on a government-owned range and integrate software with hardware systems.
Qualifications:
- Strong software background with hardware integration experience.
- Essential experience with operational testing.
- Experience coordinating surface operations on a government-owned range.
- Interface with other government and contractor vendors to drive HW/SW integration.
- Experience with Cyber and CI/CD processes; past experience driving the ATO process.
- Excellent briefing and presentation skills; able to deliver technical information to a mixed government and vendor audience.
- Facilitate communication with test range facilities to ensure coordination is on track prior to test events.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in uniformed or civilian service within a military department, ideally in an RDTE environment.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years of experience in software, hardware systems integration and test, with experience in autonomous platforms desired. Operational experience in uniformed or civilian government service is a plus.
- Master’s Degree with 7 years of experience in software, hardware systems integration and test, with experience in autonomous platforms desired. Operational experience in uniformed or civilian government service is a plus.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $125,000.00 MIN - $232,000.00 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
