Job Description: The Risk Analyst will be involved in all phases of Risk Management such as participating in insurance broker meetings, collecting and submitting exposures for various lines of insurance during policy renewals, allocating policy premiums to the L3Harris divisions, and providing certificates of insurance.Additionally, as a defense contractor, L3Harris has extensive contract compliance requirements to meet; as a result, invoice and policy record keeping along with managing supporting documentation is critical for this position.The contract compliance requirements are primarily providing division forecasts and government incurred cost audits.In line with record keeping, the Risk Analyst will be responsible for preparing selected prepaid insurance account reconciliations each month for submission to the accounting department.

Essential Functions:

·Prepaid insurance account reconciliation for various lines of insurance

·Invoice management including new vendor requests, obtaining supporting documents, and processing invoices through SignIt

·Interfacing with the tax department for reporting foreign excise tax on foreign invoices

·Administering department electronic mailbox requests

·Assisting with forecasts, government forward pricing and incurred cost audit on selected lines of insurance

·Working with insurance brokers to maintain annual insurance schedules

·Maintaining the department SharePoint site for servicing the divisions

·Attending broker open item meetings, broker renewal strategy (pre-renewal) and stewardship (post-renewal) meetings

·Allocating insurance premiums and submitting journal entries for selected lines of insurance

·Collecting and submitting insurance underwriting data for selected lines of insurance

·Performing other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management Insurance, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

·2+ years of financial experience preferably in a corporate risk management or brokerage environment

Preferred Additional Skills:

·Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills

·Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

·Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment, and be flexible with day-to-day workload

·Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PeopleSoft with Hyperion a plus

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $69,000 - $128,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $59,500 - $110,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
