Job Description:
A highly skilled and experienced IT Solutions Architect is sought to design and manage our external custom application development, including L3Harris.com. The architect should align business requirements and strategic objectives. This role includes translating business needs into technical solutions, overseeing architecture design, collaborating with teams and stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure custom applications.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectural solutions for custom applications
- Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms, including cloud services
- Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation plans
- Provide technical guidance to development teams
- Ensure integration of new applications with existing systems
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure applications comply with security standards and architectural guidelines
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
- Maintain portfolio of external custom applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT custom application development

- Experience with Agile development methodologies or DevOps practices

- Familiar with Microsoft .Net technologies
- Familiar with database design
- Experience with Azure GCC High Cloud development
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $119,500-$222,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $104,000-$193,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
