What the role will involve

Ensure a Dynamic Supply Chain - You will play a key role, enabling L3 Harris to optimize our end-to-end supply chain to enhance value. You will work with cross functional teams to help embed SIOP as one of our key business processes.

In addition to technical proficiency, this role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate effectively with teams across the company as the conduit between the SIOP team and the ICI EMEA stakeholder groups including Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Programs and Operations.

You will also be a direct line manager to the planning and Inventory team                 

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

The role will provide key support to the Head of Business Operations on all financial aspects across both strategic planning and day to day operational aspects.

Understanding of all financial drivers and supporting all requirements to meet financial targets is a key fundamental.  Reporting against targets and providing critical analysis to help the Business support critical decisions is key including providing diligence and accuracy in forecasting performance and reporting and measuring against these projections.  The role will also be responsible for ensuring that resources are aligned to provide financial governance and modelling support to all bid and program execution within the Business.

A list of the principal responsibilities include;

  • Lead and manage a planning team with varying responsibilities
  • Be comfortable challenging and discussing plans and processes with peers and leaders, especially during times of business criticality
  • Be comfortable working in a space where long term strategy is needed, but be knowledgeable to know change can be expected and how to navigated
  • Facilitate the Integrated Business Planning process
  • Collect and analyze data to support the SIOP cycle.
    • Drive stakeholder engagement in the SIOP process and be a champion for the SIOP within the organization.
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all relevant intelligence is gathered to build SIOP
  • Build datasets and reports for the SIOP processes, including but not limited to Supply / Demand detail, Inventory, Turns, Operational capacity.
  • Organize and run the SIOP prework sessions. Present Supply / Demand data alongside inventory analysis at these sessions to inform decision making and actions for SIOP.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to present data insights to stakeholders around the business.
  • Support the Head of Business Operations through all aspects of the SIOP cycle and prepare data for other senior / exec review meetings.
  • Work towards embedding the SIOP process and increasing the maturity of the process within the organization.
  • Work with peers in the UK and Globally to ensure a consistent approach to SIOP data

What you’ll bring

The role requires the following experience and skills:

  • Batchelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance or Operations
  • 3-5 years working in a planning, Procurement or Finance role and can demonstrate knowledge and experience of SIOP
  • Change management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of supply-chain centric KPI calculation methods
  • Good knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling principles
  • Experience of ERP systems (SAP Knowledge would be an advantage)
  • Skill in developing Power BI reports, metrics and dashboards to tell a data story.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for translating data insights into concise executive summaries and presentations.
  • Ability to present findings in a structured, clear manner with actionable insights.
