Job Description:
This position, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design, will work on a product development team responsible for the design of Printed Circuit Board Layouts for our Telemtry and RF (T&RF) business at our San Diego, CA location. You will be responsible for collaborating with layout designers, electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineers to produce high-quality designs for various programs across our growing business within the Space and Airborne Systems segment of L3Harris.

Essential Functions:
- Design Printed Circuit Boards using Siemens PADS CAD software.
- Produce and release layout files with fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Interpret schematic and mechanical CAD data and layout PCBs per customer requests.
- Collaborate with ECAD Design team and internal engineering customers.
- Collaborate with mechanical design engineers to ensure mechanical accuracy.
- Ensure PCB layout accuracy and compliance to IPC class 3 standards and follow the established L3Harris design and fabrication guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- 4+ years experience creating PCB layouts using ECAD tools
- Professional experience with PADS
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience and knowledge of PCB design technologies for military, airborne, and space, PCB layout techniques, electrical schematics
- Siemens Xpedition CAD software expertise
- Valor NPI experience
- BluePrint experience
- Cadence Allegro CAD software knowledge
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $90,000.00 - $167,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
