Job Description: 

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Specialist, Program Management for the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) program. This role directs all phases of the program from inception through completion, involving engagements with multiple USG organizations, managing competitive pursuits, and shaping follow-on value-added Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). The Program Manager will lead and manage the Program Integration Team, ensuring the successful integration of all program elements, including risk and opportunity management, configuration and data management, IT systems, and security integration. The Program Manager will drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow. The role is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of their program.

Essential Functions:

  1. Program Integration Management:
    • Lead the Program Integration Team to ensure cohesive and efficient integration of all program elements.
    • Develop and implement integration strategies and plans that align with program goals and objectives.
    • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of program components.
  2. Risk and Opportunity Management:
    • Identify, assess, and manage program risks and opportunities.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
    • Monitor and report on risk status and mitigation efforts.
  3. Configuration and Data Management:
    • Oversee the configuration management process to ensure all program documentation, hardware, and software are accurately tracked and maintained.
    • Ensure data management practices are in place to support program requirements and compliance.
    • Maintain configuration control over program baselines and changes.
  4. Security Integration:
    • Ensure all program activities comply with security policies and regulations.
    • Coordinate with security teams to integrate security measures into program processes.
    • Conduct security assessments and audits as required.
  5. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for program integration-related matters.
    • Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to various audiences.
  6. Program Execution and Financial Management:
    • Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow.
    • Manage competitive pursuits and shape follow-on value-added ECPs.
    • Ensure the program meets its cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active US Secret Clearance 

Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in program management, preferably in defense or aerospace industries.
  • Proven experience in managing complex programs with multiple integration points.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, configuration management, and IT systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
