Job Description:

An IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for the TCOM Sector within the CS Segment is a dynamic role.  They act as the strategic interface between the IT organization and the business.  They are a strong influential leader responsible for deep connections within the business to ensure opportunities and issues are identified and fixed quickly as well as a partner to ensure IT considerations are included in bids and proposals and other business plans.  The BRM is also responsible to have a strong relationship with the IT Service and sub service owners to ensure they understand the strategic plans for each area to identify areas of impact to our business. The IT BRM provides highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives. They communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of cross-functional staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives. They proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units. Versatility and leadership are key in this role, as you will frequently tackle new and challenging problems that require a proactive and adaptable approach to find effective solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • IT liaison between IT Senior Leadership and Sector Business Leadership
    • Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, etc.  
  • Facilitate IT Service Delivery and escalations for business-critical services
  • Prioritize business requirements for annual SGP and AOP
  • Coordinate and communicate planned (major) changes
  • Attend critical sector reviews for awareness, IT inclusion in bids and business enablement
  • Engaged and aware of new business won and IT components
  • Engage in Segment Joint Strategic Planning for IT Enablement
  • Work with IT Service and Sub Service owners to Prioritize IT capabilities and collaboration solutions that enable the business
  • Oversee successful completion of the Segment and IT sponsored IT initiatives
  • Monthly finance reviews: allocations and passthrough forecast/allocations
  • Provide roadmap direction and follow through leadership on IT strategy implementation to the business.  Creating a trusted strategic partner relationship
  • Measure and monitor Service Delivery Performance
  • Surface and advocate to improve IT Service Delivery Challenges: E3 & Kaizen events
  • Analyze emerging technologies and partner with the business and technology teams to incorporate new trends into an effective Segment technology
  • Surface & share business IT needs, issues, challenges, & improvement opportunities with the IT Service Provider and implement Performance Improvement Plans (as needed) to get performance levels back to a healthy state

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Current/ active TS/SCI security clearance or the ability to obtain
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Project Management certifications or experience
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, ALM)
  • Executive presence to partner with leaders at all levels
  • Experience in the A&D industry preferred
  • Cross-functional IT knowledge and experience (infrastructure, apps, security etc)
  • Self-directed, versatile, and able to prioritize multiple competing priorities and deliverables
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $137,000-$254,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $119,000-$221,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
