The Communication & Spectrum Dominance Segment of L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Associate, Program Management to support and lead strategic programs within the Tactical Communications portfolio in Saudi Arabia. This role is based in Riyadh and offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of advanced communications technology while contributing to locally built and nationally significant defense programs.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing complex, high-visibility programs, serving as the primary interface between internal cross-functional teams, local partners, and key Saudi customers. This position demands strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to balance technical execution with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Program Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for program execution, ensuring successful delivery across cost, schedule, scope, and technical performance. You will be accountable for driving program excellence while achieving key financial and customer-focused objectives:
- Oversee all phases of program management, from concept to closure.
- Manage multiple Saudi local build radio programs, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including schedule, budgets, staffing, and other plan elements working with the US program management team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across various geographical locations to ensure successful program execution.
- Contribute to proposal preparation to support new business opportunities including supporting and conducting Cost reviews.
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and communications with stakeholders to keep them informed of program progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Work with Sales, Business Development, Saudi customers and suppliers and in-country Joint Venture teams to determine and identify new requirements and opportunities.
- Monitor and manage program budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial tracking.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Knowledge of ITAR and international Export Compliance regulations.
- Understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms)
- International travel (to the middle east region and United States) and ability to travel to different cities within Saudi Arabia up to 20% time.
- This role involves working across different time zones to coordinate with global teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years prior related experience.
- Proven experience in program or project management, ideally within defense, aerospace, or complex technology programs.
- Strong understanding of cost, schedule, and performance management.
- Experience working with international or Middle East customers strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
