Job Description:
Aerojet Rocketdyne an L3Harris Technologies Company is a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to its space, missile defense, strategic, tactical missile and armaments customers throughout domestic and international markets. We offer a complete line of propulsion products for launch vehicles, missile defense, and advanced hypersonic propulsion.
We currently have a need for a Specialist, Logistics in our Redmond, WA (Seattle area) facility.
Essential Functions
- Manage the cycle count process, performing cycle counts and resolving discrepancies, including inventory in warehouse, as well as in work-in-progress (WIP) areas.
- Create reports on cycle count results, overall inventory accuracy, and any associated issues, and presents these reports to management.
- Manage, maintain, and complete required periodic accounting and reporting relative to inventory per Government and commercial customer contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics relative to inventory accuracy.
- Identify material tracking and control practices/processes that could be improved and works with Material Control and Operations functions to implement improvements.
- Lead implementation of new/revised inventory control processes associated with the current ERP system; provide training to others in the Material Control organization.
- Identify ERP system issues affecting inventory and works with appropriate functions to resolve.
- Lead material transfer process for the logistics group.Support material control functions during increased workload.
- May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Oracle preferred), and Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Capable of using information and reports to improve department processes, services and efficiency.
- Extensive experience in creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in warehouse and manufacturing environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $64,500 - $120,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
