Job Description:

The Manager, Procurement typically accomplishes results through experienced exempt employees. This position functions as advisor on all projects and tasks assigned to the organizational group. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provides directions to subordinate direct reports based on general policies and management guidance
  • Interprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational groups
  • Recommends modifications to operating policies
  • Provides assistance to direct reports in meeting established schedules or to resolve complex administrative or operational problems
  • Supervises supply chain and materiel management functional activities ensuring compliance with the Company’s policy, customer requirements and regulations and public laws in expenditure of the Company and government funds · Selects types of contractual arrangements
  • Ensures that accurate and timely data is prepared, reviewed and submitted according to internal and external requirements
  • Responsible for product cost, schedule, and quality
  • Reviews and approves expenditures up to a delegated limit in accordance with policy and public law

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization.
  • Professional certification(s) in Production and Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Project Management and similar subject matter areas are preferred.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the State of Washington is $100,500 - $186,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

L3Harris announced on January 5th, that AE Industrial Partners (“AE Industrial”) has agreed to acquire a controlling interest in L3Harris’ Space Propulsion and Power Systems business. This position has been identified as one that will transition to the new standalone company upon closing of the transaction. Until that time, L3Harris will continue its hiring activity within this business.”
