L3Harris Technologies is seeing an Electrician Lead in its Panama City locations. This individual will be responsible for electrical overseeing and directing all electrical work on a vessel, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Direct production of the task(s) or project(s) assigned including obtaining materials, evaluating existing conditions, determining tool.
- Plan manning requirements.
- Generate condition found reports.
- Providing growth work man-hour estimates.
- Determine growth work material requirements
- Assign tasks to electrical and electronic production employees.
- Maintain budgetary requirements for each task or project assigned and to project and
- Communicate issues with meeting task or project monetary goals.
- Multi-task across several trade categories, projects, and contracts. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have five (5) years experience with electrical, structural, or mechanical Navy shipboard repair, modernization, and maintenance projects.
- Have a strong working knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items and Mil-DOD-2003.
- Must be capable of reading, analyzing, interpreting, and red-lining installation drawings, technical manuals, and work specifications.
- Candidate must have connector assembly and cable test experience.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- U.S citizenship
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with Deltek and CostPoint finance systems
