Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Integration and Test Engineer with a background in maintaining and troubleshooting development, integration, and production test environments using factory test procedures for large-scale military avionics production lots.

Essential Functions: 

• Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment to ensure high availability for production delivery schedules.
• Provide maintenance and support for computers and networking lab environments.
  • Linux Server Systems Administration
  • Windows Server Systems Administration
  • Network Administration for VLAN networking equipment
  • Linux Client Image Creation/Maintenance/Deployment
  • Latest Windows Client (10 and 11) Image Creation/Maintenance/Deployment
  • Ensure network connectivity exists for Lab Networked devices
  • Ensure Data Backups ae up-to-date and tested
  • Account and User Group Creation/Maintenance – Linux and Windows
  • Data Backups and Restores
• Consultant for compatibility issues/concerns with Test Equipment, parts, and Operating Systems, particularly with product obsolescence.
• Resolve issues with Hardware and Operating System compatibility.
• Maintain procedures for system setup and configuration.
• Must be able to lift 40Lbs to a height of at least 36”.
• Must be able to climb a stepladder to a height of at least 30”.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or related STEM field) and minimum of 4 years of prior System Administration Experience.  Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or related STEM field) and a minimum of 2 years of prior Systems Administrator experience. In lieu of a degree, 8 years of prior Systems Administrator experience.
• 2 years experience with the test development process from requirement definition through qualification and production support.
• 2 years of experience with hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting.
• 2 years of experience with Networking – understanding of subnets and VLANs.

• Experience working with a multi-discipline technical team.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in mentoring and growing technical staff.
