Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead our Program Management Rotational Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, exceptional leadership and planning skills, and a passion for developing talent. Our rotational program selects applicants from across various functions (Engineering, Operations, Finance, etc.) and purposefully exposes them to roles in program management with the goal of developing a bench of future program leaders. As the manager, you will oversee the scope and implementation of the rotational program for all active participants ensuring staff gain valuable growth experience and develop the skills necessary to excel in program management roles.
Essential Functions:
• Lead the PM rotational program as the functional supervisor for ~15-20 rotational cohort members
• Ensure all cohort members have meaningful assignments for each 8-month rotation
• Manage the selection process and communication for new cohorts on an 8-month cycle
• Plan development activities for cohorts including planning all content for quarterly onsite visits and lunch and learns
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to the program to align to business needs
• Support and/or lead other Program Management Excellence process improvement projects or training/development enhancements as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years prior related experience; Or, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
• 5-10 years of experience in program execution as Program Manager, having Advanced expertise in program planning, Earned Value Management/financial management, risk and opportunity management, and change management
• 3-5 years of people management (direct supervisor) experience which includes experience developing career growth and opportunity plans
• 1-2 years of proposal management and/or capture management experience
• SAS PLT Program Manager (PM) Certification, or ability to obtain certification
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Familiarity with SAS Program Leadership Team (PLT) curriculum and usage of PMX toolset
• Knowledge of PM best practices and industry standards
• Strategic thinking skills
• Training/instructional delivery experience and presentation briefing skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State and New York State is $108,500-$201,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
