Job Description:
The ASO will oversee and participate in ELINT collection operations, providing technical expertise, mentorship, and team leadership in a dynamic and evolving mission environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in ELINT/SIGINT collection and analysis, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and exhibit flexibility in high-tempo operations. The ASO will ensure mission success through effective planning, execution, and team management while maintaining operational readiness in strategic and tactical settings.
Essential Functions:
- Lead a team of ELINT operators, ensuring seamless mission execution in high-visibility and dynamic environments.
- Oversee ELINT collection operations, analysis, and reporting while adhering to established protocols and quality standards.
- Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior operators, fostering team development and operational proficiency.
- Manage and coordinate tasking, mission planning, and equipment readiness to meet operational objectives.
- Coordinate flight schedules with Site Lead to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Responsible for reporting quarterly operational data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in performance metrics.
- Write and manage employee performance reports, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for professional development.
- Act as the COMSEC/CCI hand receipt holder, ensuring accountability, proper handling, and compliance with all security protocols for controlled items and materials.
- Exhibit the ability to learn and perform “on-the-fly” in response to mission changes and emerging requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including intelligence analysts and operational leadership, to support strategic goals.
- Ensure adherence to all security, safety, and deployment readiness protocols.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a military or intelligence operational environment.
- Strong understanding of COMINT/ELINT sensor systems, communications principles, and aircraft survivability concepts.
- Proficiency in basic computer/network operations and Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, which requires U.S. citizenship
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in any of the following:
- ELINT collection operations
- Intelligence analysis
- SIGINT analysis
- ELINT analysis
- Must be able to be medically cleared for deployments with no restrictions to remote locations outside the continental United States (OCONUS)
- Active NSA SID
- Must have a valid passport
- Must have a Valid State Driver's License
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience mentoring or training team members in ELINT/SIGINT operations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt to mission changes and relocations
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
Work Environment and Deployment Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to deploy to austere, remote locations with limited infrastructure, limited access to healthcare, and support for up to 75-90 days at a time.
