Job Description:
The purpose of the Integration and Test engineer position is to synthesize and define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. Coordinate assembly level through system level integration and test activities and ensure that technical obligations are fulfilled.
Essential Functions:
- Perform systems engineering tasks for both manual and automated test processes
- Develop test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
- Execute system, CCA and component level functional testing and document results
- Use software tools and perform scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
- Setup, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices to perform verification and validation
- Perform root cause analysis and correction action creation
- Support Operations in failure trend analysis and ensure failure trends are quickly and effectively identified and resolved
- May provide technical consultation to internal organizations and/or customers
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Capable of traveling domestically and internationally up to 10%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and 0-2 years of prior Integration/Test experience.
- Ability to obtain a US DOD Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Technical Software Used: IBM Rational DOORS, Imatest, LabVIEW, JIRA, Confluence, NI TestStand, Python
- Software used: Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project
- Test Hardware: DC Power Supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, RF Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Noise Figure Analyzer, Scaler Analyzer, Fiber Optic Scope Meter
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
- Knowledge of Electro-Optical Imaging testing including optical Signal to Noise Ratio, MTF, MRTD, boresight alignment, optical distortion, relative illumination, ELRF testing and alignments, video format compliance. General knowledge of multi-spectral cameras such as visible, SWIR, MWIR
- Knowledge of Broadband RF/Microwave and Antenna testing for injected and radiated tests including S-Parameters, Noise Figure, Compression
- Knowledge of Environmental Qualification test such as Thermal, Structureborne Noise, Hydrostatic Pressure, Self-Compatibility EMI test, Vibration tests
- Knowledge of Line of sight testing inclusive of multi-axis stabilization tests, line of sight accuracy, support of mechanism integration with various actuators, encoders, motors, focus mechanisms
- Knowledge of communications systems, software languages, automated software
- Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting and usage of automated testing frameworks and applications
- Project and team leadership experience
- Presentation and communication skills (Verbal/written/visual)
- Problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to productively contribute work, ideas, and collaboration as part of a team
- The use of safety equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Massachusetts is [$67,000 MIN - $123,500 MAX]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
