About your next Challenge as a Systems Engineer:
What will you do:
- Design equipment for the control of naval platforms
- Develop Manufacturing Drawings for naval equipment
- Prepare and perform test procedures for procured and designed equipment
- Review customer documentation of ship systems including the propulsion, electrical, auxiliary, and damage control systems
- Manage obsolescence to support in-service programs
- Participate in internal and external meetings regarding interface between ship systems and the control system
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrate interpersonal and team work skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Billingual (French and English), spoken and written. The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
