Salary Range: 62 500$ - 112 500$
About your next Challenge as a Proposals Specialist
What will you do:
- Analyze customer requirements and work alongside Subject Matter Experts (SME) in order to propose a high-level solution for naval controls;
- Define statement of work for internal SME estimation;
- Draft technical proposals;
- Requirements analysis to ensure compliance to customer requirements;
- Estimate and consolidate material costs;
- Prepare specifications for potential subcontractors;
- Manage, consolidate and present the technical and cost inputs from subcontractors and internal departments;
- Present solution and costs to senior management and/or customers;
- Provide technical support to Marketing;
- Provide technical marketing support in the field (demonstrations, presentations) with prospective customers and at industry conferences/events
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or in Engineering;
- 2-4 years relevant experience
- Experience with naval industry, preferable;
- Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); IBM DOORS (an asset);
- Capable of working under pressure to meet bid deadlines;
- Autonomous and goal-oriented;
- Excellent English writing and presentation skills. The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
