About your next Challenge as an Engineering Group Leader:
What will you do:
- Participate in hiring, coaching and mentoring the marine system engineering group
- Supervise and manage activities of the marine system engineering group
- Review and analyze technical data and project requirements
- Handle group labor estimating for projects, EAC management
- Manage and comply to the marine system engineering processes
- Structure Bill of Material (BOM) for the projects in the corporate toolset
- Prepare hardware and systems engineering documentation
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering related work
- Demonstrated interpersonal and team work skills
- Experience with naval industry is preferable
- Capable of managing a team to deliver results and meeting defined objectives
- Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proficient English writing and presentation skills. The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
