Job Title: Junior Project Manager
Job Location: Montreal, QC
Job Schedule: Day Shift
Essential Functions:
The Junior Project Manager supports the Project Manager in planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate tasks and milestones to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track progress against timelines and deliverables.
- Support communication between the client, vendors, and internal teams.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare project reports, and maintain documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to resolve issues and maintain productivity.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Escalate issues and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, quality standards, and organizational policies.
- Support audits, reviews, and post-project evaluations.
- Help track project expenditures and ensure budget adherence.
- Contribute to procurement planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers to track labor hours and associated costs for ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with cost-plus program requirements.
- Review and analyze labor reports to identify discrepancies, enhancing overall project efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation to facilitate audits and reviews.
- Assist in the development of budget forecasts and monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Assist in developing project plans & schedules.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, quality standards, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Engineering required.
- 0–2 years of prior related experience (entry-level).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Budget Management, Data Entry & Management.
- Strong Communication Skills, Attention to Detail.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
