Compensation Range: Between $50,500 - $93,500 CDN annually
Reporting to the Manager Program Finance, you will be responsible for setting up and monitoring projects to provide the necessary visibility in terms of planning, accounting and project costs control in a Project Management environment.
Essential Functions:
- In collaboration with your team, you will:
- Participate in the development of the master schedule and the overall project budget, as well as authorizing the work upon project funding approval;
- Conduct periodic monitoring such as: assessing overall performance of the project according to principles of Project Management, analyzing discrepancies between the budget and schedule;
- Assist the Program Manager with scope changes and risk management;
- Prepare various performance reports and carry out appropriate monthly financial analysis;
- Assist with the preparation of the financial information for the customer.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration - Accounting profile or Project Management Specialization or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered;
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience with SAP (an asset);
- Experience with a project management software (such as MS Project, an asset);
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential (pivot tables, advanced formulas);
- Attention to detail, teamwork, analytical skills, and business acumen are sought-after competencies;
- Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment requiring accountability and autonomy;
- Bilingual French and English (written and spoken).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
