Job Description:
L3Harris is searching for talented entry-level Information Technology Customer Service professionals to join the L3Harris Security Operations in the Security Operations Control Center (SOCC). The team consists of Security Engineers and Information Security Analysts supporting Managed Network Infrastructures and Services for federal government customers.
- This position is ONSITE at L3Harris offices located in Melbourne, Florida
- This role may require weekend, after-hours, or on-call rotations to meet program requirements and/or ongoing program support.
- This position may require limited travel in an emergency
- This position requires the ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Suitability
Essential Functions:
- Provide high-quality customer service by responding to inquiries via phone and email, ensuring clear communication and positive user experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and account-related issues efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize established procedures, policies, knowledge bases, and reference materials to accurately resolve customer issues.
- Document all customer interactions and actions taken within the ticketing system to ensure accurate tracking and traceability.
- Identify issues requiring escalation and route them to the appropriate support teams for timely resolution.
- Perform user account creation, modification, and deprovisioning tasks, ensuring accurate and compliant processing of service enrollment requests.
- Partner with security engineers, system administrators, network engineers, and application teams to support identity and access management requirements.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor user access controls and related procedures to ensure security and regulatory compliance.
- Provide guidance on routine cybersecurity and IAM-related operational matters as needed.
- Administer and oversee privileged accounts and credentials, ensuring secure management and adherence to least-privilege principles.
- Conduct periodic assessments and audits of privileged access to identify risks, validate controls, and support remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to define, refine, and enforce privileged access management (PAM) policies in alignment with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and training materials for IAM and PAM processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and support managed security tools and applications, coordinating with technical teams for issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong communication skills and customer service expertise, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Foundational understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and access review/audit processes.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-discipline teams and assist teammates when needed.
- Experience supporting government or regulated environments; familiarity with FAA telecommunications or network security is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications, or PAM-specific vendor credentials.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
