Job Description:

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers. Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.

Essential Functions:

• Communicate, coordinate, and negotiate workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands and schedule deadlines are met.
• Review schedules to ensure materials are available according to schedules.
• Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
• Monitor order status, including material status, managing WIP areas, location accuracy, inventory discrepancies, manufacturing and program support, and communication support.
• Ensure availability of materials to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Leads stand up production meetings to capture status and report out any issues.
• Advises program management on scheduling timelines. 
• Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication…)
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Requires broad theoretical job knowledge/ skills.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods.
• Understands material requirements planning and the interrelationships of configuration, manufacturing, quality and procurement, and materials concepts in the electronics industry.
• Based on site requirements, must be a United States Citizen.

• Preferred Additional Skills:

• Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• APICS CPIM Certification.

• Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged sitting at a workstation and working on a computer.
