Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Product Management Professional to help drive the Devices Product Line through smart strategy, market insights, and successful product launches. This role works across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and commercial teams to bring innovative portable and mobile solutions to market while developing impactful sales tools and leading competitive analysis. Essential Functions:
- The Product Management Professional will provide a broad knowledge of product management support for the Devices Product Line Management team.
- Provide and deliver product reporting, participate in product line forecasting, conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis, and is closely involved with the vital initiatives to meet the product line revenue targets.
- Support robust and effective commercialization plans and the implementation of product activities for all new Portable and Mobile product launches to ensure attainment of financial objectives within launch timelines.
- Work across Product Line Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Configuration Management in preparation for introductions and productization in catalog.
- Communicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.) when necessary.
- Develop sales tools and collateral to equip field sales, inside sales and channel partners for success. Implement value-added selling promotions, training collateral, presentations, webinars, and other commercialization activities. Ensure all marketing and sales collateral reflects current product line with accurate data.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and ownership, proactively driving product activities and taking general oversight of key workstreams with minimal direction.
- Act as a self‑starter who anticipates needs, identifies gaps, and independently moves projects forward.
- Bring creative, outside‑the‑box thinking to solve complex problems, challenge assumptions, and identify innovative opportunities that strengthen the product line.
- Apply inventive approaches to product strategy, market analysis, and commercialization to improve outcomes and uncover new value.
- Conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis. Lead competitive benchmarking sessions, prepare competitive product feature comparison spreadsheets, prepare competitive pricing analysis and conduct ongoing market insight. Synthesize insight for input into product road maps, market positioning and strategic planning.
- Drive a culture of innovation by proactively identifying new solutions, tools, and approaches that enhance product performance, competitiveness, and internal processes.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting for product shipments, operational features, and historical sales trends.
- Provide training to sales, customer service and application engineers to enable stakeholders to successfully apply content and learnings into their respective disciplines.
- Participate in financial calls and inventory initiatives as requested. Help manage the reporting of product-line revenue and bookings to ensure accurate forecasting of product portfolio.
- Stay on top of industry trends and best practices across all areas of responsibility.
- Travel required (10%-25%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's with 6 years prior Product Manager / Product owner experience. Graduate Degree with 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong problem-solving, resource management, and time-management skills
- Broad knowledge of project management
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects at once with cross-functional teams
- Experience with LMR or LTE technology to support internal and external customers
- IP networking

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role inColorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington State and New York State is $78,500 - $164,500.This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
