Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week (noon start time) 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. This individual will support multiple production programs on 2^nd shift and will be responsible for ensuring products and processes meet established standards of quality and compliance. This role will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to accomplish tasks. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with good communication skills and able to make sound judgements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions:

• Support material review process, including review and dispositions of non-conforming material.
• Assist in conformance inspection testing and related quality assurance activities.
• Communicate with contacts within and outside of department to interpret and explain operational processes, practices, and procedures
• Function independently with limited supervision and escalate needs to leadership as needed.
• Assist with failure analysis and corrective action efforts using complex problem-solving methods to drive the development of technical solutions.
• Support thorough use of data analytics, the verifying and validating of processes, methods and associated equipment capability.
• As required, support the training, mentoring and coaching of lab and inspection personnel in the technical requirements of product
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the Quality Technician role.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior quality experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 2 years of prior quality experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Data analytics capabilities
• Proficiency in using measurement and inspection tools
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
