  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready inspection records and documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable quality standards including AS9100; identify equipment needs for jobs requiring new or custom metrology tooling
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with buyers, planners, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and program leadership to resolve quality issues and support production priorities including hot lists and sorting events
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications independently
  • Demonstrated experience generating and maintaining formal inspection documentation, nonconformance reports
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously with limited supervision, apply independent judgment on moderately complex inspection tasks, and resolve most issues without escalation
  • Demonstrated experience with precision hand measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauge blocks, and gauge pins

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior inspection experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior inspection experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • IPC-A-610 Certification for electronic assembly inspection

  • Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management standards and Material Review Board (MRB) processes
