L3Harris in Eight Mile Plains is The Centre of Excellence for Electronic Warfare and is home to world-leading design, manufacture and integration expertise and the sustainment of high-reliability electronic warfare components. Our highly skilled workforce design and develop Australia’s sovereign defence capabilities such as the next-generation space, airborne and cyber capabilities for the Australian warfighter.
We’re looking for an Analyst to ensure the accuracy, control, and traceability of engineering configurations throughout the entire product lifecycle. In this role, you’ll assess and document changes to maintain compliance with company standards, while providing expert advice and support to stakeholders on configuration and change management best practices.
What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Work closely with the Configuration Manager to maintain the Configuration Management System.
- Develop and update the Configuration Management Manual and related procedures that form part of the company’s Engineering Management System.
- Create and revise configuration management plans
- Prepare configuration management reports, documentation, and progress updates
- Estimate the time, resources, and costs required to provide configuration management support for new project opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement of the Product Lifecycle Management tool, ARAS Innovator.
- Participate in Integrated Project Team meetings, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, Finance, and Customers.
- Support the preparation of project management documentation and reports, including weekly, monthly, and customer reports, as well as visual management tools in line with business processes.
What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Experience in configuration control.
- Demonstrated experience in working with contemporary PLMT/s.
- Demonstrated experience of working in ASDEFCON projects involving engineering design.
- Configuration Management qualifications (CMTF Level 3, CMII PRO or equivalent).
- Experience working with ARAS Innovator PLMT.
