About the Opportunity:

We are an international business unit looking for an energetic, self-driven, organised individual capable of learning and excelling at multiple disciplines. We aim to professionalise support to the Australian operation in a number of business areas and this role requires you to be comfortable learning and practicing a blend of facilities manager, security specialist, event planner, junior business analyst and executive assistant roles. Your primary work location is Sydney, Australia though schedule flexibility can be negotiated. Infrequent travel to our Australian and New Zealand satellite offices and international travel may be required, circumstances permitting.

We are a trusted, discrete partner furnishing security products, consultancy, training and integration services to allied security, defence, and law enforcement agencies.

Responsibilities

  • The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Serve as facility manager for North Sydney Office and provide support as required to the Australian and New Zealand satellite offices.
  • Maintain L3Harris Corporate Vendor Master system ensuring new vendor management is completed in a timely manner, supporting the internal finance team.
  • Develop rapport with AU personnel and serve as an advocate, triaging issues and expediting resolution across the full spectrum of business functions
  • Serve as AU administrative lead, providing full-spectrum business support to the AU team, including travel, expenses and procurement.
  • Identify and emplace processes to streamline support to AU personnel and automate monotonous tasks as they are uncovered.
  • Orchestrate business unit and L3Harris executive leadership visits to Australia and other international offices
  • Oversee and maintain accountability for office capital purchases and equipment
  • Experience and disposition permitting, develop and apply project management skills to organize and support initiatives that span facilities, IT, quality assurance, capital expenditure and customer support functions.
  • Serve as the AU Security Officer to support the facility security posture and enforce corporate security policies

Experience & Skills

  • Extensive experience in an administrative role
  • Proven experience in office management or a similar leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
  • Proficient in financial management, including vendor management and purchase order processes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
