About the role 

L3Harris Communication Systems is a world leader in ground tactical and airborne mission communication solutions and a global provider of ground based C4 systems and transportable SATCOM terminals. We are focused on delivering advanced systems to meet the needs of our customers, uniting multiple forms of communication together, and covering communication over air, ground, sea, and space. 

The Quality Project Admin will support a range of internal improvement activities in support of our ISO9001 compliance.

Reporting directly to the Head of HSEQ, the Quality Projects Admin will primarily be responsible for reviewing, editing and transferring information contained within our controlled documents into an online format as part of a continuous improvement project.

Six (6) Month Contract.

What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Establishing baseline document configurations across the business
  • Collaborating with functional managers to review and update document content
  • Partnering with the IT team to verify SharePoint configuration
  • Managing data transfer from existing documents into SharePoint
  • Conducting testing and validation activities
  • Supporting internal training and the rollout of change initiatives

What you’ll bring 

The role requires the following experience and skills:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following experience and skills:

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance (NV1) and access ITAR/EAR-controlled information and technology
  • Experience establishing baseline document configurations within an organisation
  • Proven ability to collaborate with functional managers to review and update document content
  • Experience working with IT teams to verify SharePoint configuration
  • Competence in transferring data from documents into SharePoint
  • Strong skills in testing and validation processes
  • Ability to support internal training and facilitate change rollouts

Essential Functions:

  • Establish and maintain baseline document configurations across the business
  • Collaborate with functional managers to review, update, and improve document content
  • Partner with IT to verify and optimise SharePoint configuration
  • Manage data migration from existing documents into SharePoint
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure data integrity and system accuracy
  • Provide support for internal training and assist with change management initiatives

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and SharePoint
  • Current Defence Security Clearance (preferred)
  • Experience developing or managing corporate policy and procedure documents within an ISO 9001–accredited organisation
