Job Description:
The Principal Program Finance position will be responsible for the financial management of assigned programs. The position will be responsible for driving EVMS implementations, improving EAC processes, assist in improving program execution and ensuring alignment to L3 Harris Corporate policies across a wide range of portfolios within Maritime Power and Energy Solutions (MPES) Division as well as other key strategic programs within the Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) Segment.
Essential Functions:
- Lead program financials including development of time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and overseeing of cost and schedule integration
- Partner with IPT members to execute baselining, Estimate to Completion (ETC), and change management processes. This includes management of the program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and charge codes within the ERP system
- Development of CEACs; analyze/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Profitability Assessments
- Responsible for evaluating accuracy of month end Revenue Recognition for assigned programs
- Ownership of program(s) sales, OI and FCF forecast in support of Monthly Financial Review (MFR)
- Ensure program EAC adherence to L3 Harris AC-13 and PMO-05 policies. Evaluate, make recommendations and implement corrective actions where gaps exist
- Perform risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and schedule risks
- Support and lead Finance transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for process and systems improvements
- Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively work with people of all levels within the organization
- Ability to proactively solve complex problems and issues in a timely manner with limited supervision
- Strong sense of initiative, independence, closure, with ability to navigate multiple priorities within tight-deadlines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field and requires a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated expert working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Estimate at Completes (EAC’s)
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- US citizenship required

- Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience with Deltek Costpoint and SAP ERP Systems
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $115K - $214K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
