L3Harris Communication Systems is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Senior Manager, Sales/Account Management to lead our regional sales strategy and team across Africa, Central Asia, and the UAE. Based in Abu Dhabi, this is a high-impact, senior leadership position responsible for driving significant growth in tactical communications (TCOM), broadband systems (BCS), and integrated vision solutions (IVS) for defense and government customers. The successful candidate will be a proven leader with a strong track record in closing complex sales, building strategic partnerships, and delivering results in challenging, high-potential markets.

Essential Functions:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional sales team, setting and exceeding ambitious targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for TCOM, BCS, IVS, as well as integrated systems including areas like C5ISR.
- Build, manage, and expand relationships with senior defense and government stakeholders, as well as key industry partners.
- Successfully negotiate and close complex, high-value deals, including DCS/FMS and major modernization programs.
- Manage and optimize the regional dealer network to maximize market reach and performance.
- Drive strategic planning, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop and manage strategic regional partnerships, including expertise in localization and offset requirements.
- Represent L3Harris at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings, serving as a senior ambassador for the company.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant export, legal, and corporate policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and regular reporting to senior and executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of defense sales/account management experience (or 15+ years without a degree).
- Demonstrated, proven leadership success managing and growing multi-national sales teams in complex environments.
- Strong, quantifiable track record of closing complex sales and delivering sustained regional growth.
- Deep expertise in DCS/FMS sales, with a focus on tactical communications.
- Fluent in English; Arabic fluency highly preferred; French language skills a plus.
- Experience working with military and government customers in Africa, Central Asia, or UAE.
- Willingness and ability to regularly travel internationally
- Based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience managing dealer networks and developing strategic regional partnerships.
- Expertise in localization, offset, and regional compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with C4I/C5I/C5ISR architectures and solutions.
- Experience in BCS and IVS domains (in addition to TCOM).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence senior decision-makers and drive consensus at the highest levels.
- Strategic planning and process optimization experience.
