Job DescriptionThis position, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design Librarian, will work on a product development team responsible for the design of complex multilayer digital, power supply, or RF circuit cards. You will be responsible for collaborating with layout designers, electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineers to produce high-quality designs for various programs across our growing business.  

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain symbol and cell generation libraries
  • Create and review library components, symbols, and cells in accordance with established IPC industry guidelines meeting high levels of accuracy.
  • Ensure CAD Library components comply with IPC-7351 standards and follow the established L3Harris design and fabrication guidelines. 

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree and 2+ years of prior related experience, Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0-2 years related experience, or Associate's Degree and 4 years relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years prior related experience
  • Must have the ability and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Experience with PCB ECAD Library Guidelines using Mentor Graphics Xpedition VX2.14 or similar software such as, Cadence Allegro, DxDesigner, PADS, etc.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with library creation, maintenance and development
  • Experience working with IPC standards for cell creation in support of PCB layout, land patterns, and acceptance criteria
  • Working knowledge of PCB/fab DFM rules
  • Experience with Expedition
  • Working knowledge of MS office products (outlook, excel, word, powerpoint, etc.)
  • Experience with DX Designer

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado and New York State is $58,500.00 - $108,500.00. For California and New York City, the salary range for this role is $67,500.00 - $125,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
