Job Description:
L3Harris Space & Sensors is looking for a Senior Specialist Electrical Engineer with a strong knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) design. As an RF designer at Space & Sensors you will design space communications equipment including receivers and transmitters. Designs include discrete low noise amplifiers (LNAs), mixers, and transmitters using solid state power amplifiers (SSPAs). Knowledge and use of associated RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and complex waveform gererators is a must.
Essential Functions:
- Eligibility for a Security Clearance is desired.
- Extended work hours available.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience. Graduate/Master’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience is required.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient using Mentor Grapics ADS Software
- Proficient in a semi-clean room test theater including ESD precautions
- Broad knowledge of project management
