Primary Responsibilities
- Replenishment of Point of Use inventory using kanban methodology
- Provide customer service at the Stores wicket including completion of inventory transactions
- Daily report running, creation of manufacturing orders and production order picking
- Support service team by fulfilling material requests and replenishing service dedicated inventory
- Monitor and facilitate where possible, workflow and communication between Production Cells and other relevant departments
- Responsible for supporting inventory cycle counts
- Material handling and optimizing of inventory storage
- Stock/process audits and variance investigation
- Maintaining a high level of Inventory Accuracy
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Demonstrated knowledge of MRP
- Experience working with a perpetual computerized inventory management system
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative ability
- Strong communications skills including building strong relationships with people at all levels
- Be able to meet the physical demands-prolonged standing, occasionally climbing small ladders, carrying and lifting 15kgs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a particular strength using Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of management for controlled goods and material controlled under ITAR would be an asset
- Commitment to change using a continuous improvement approach

- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
