Job Description:
The Missile Solutions Segment of L3Harris is currently seeking an experienced capital management professional for our entire organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the capital acquisition process across multiple sites, ensuring capital projects and equipment purchases are planned, justified, approved, and executed in alignment with organizational goals, budgets, and timelines. Acts as the central point of contact among site leadership, finance, procurement, engineering, and operations to drive consistency, governance, and effective investment decisions.
Essential Functions:
· Manage the end-to-end capital acquisition process for multiple sites, from request intake through approval, procurement, and project closeout.
· Coordinate with site leaders to identify capital needs, prioritize requests, and align investments with business strategy.
· Develop, maintain, and standardize capital planning processes, documentation, and approval workflows across locations.
· Partner with finance to support budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and return-on-investment analysis.
· Facilitate cross-site communication to share best practices, lessons learned, and process improvements.
· Support preparation of business cases, capital authorization requests, and executive presentations.
· Ability to obtain a US secret security clearance.
· Travel ~10%.
Qualifications:
· Requires a Bachelor’s degree in in business, finance, engineering, operations, or related field and minimum 6 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
· Experience managing capital projects, capital planning, procurement, or multi-site operations.
· Strong project management, financial analysis, and stakeholder coordination skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed teams.
· Knowledge of capital budgeting, approval governance, and purchasing processes.
· Proficiency in ERP systems, spreadsheets, and project tracking tools.
· Experience in a multi-site manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment.
· Familiarity with CapEx governance and asset lifecycle management.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and process improvement capabilities.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $180,000 - $214,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $146,000 - $191,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
