Job Description:

The HR Technology Innovation, Project and Change Management Leader is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of HR technology solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, fostering innovation by integrating new technologies, and leading change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions. The leader collaborates with various stakeholders, manages resources, and maintains project documentation while also staying updated on industry trends to drive continuous improvement in HR processes through technology.  The successful individual will work under general supervision of the Senior Director, Global HR Systems and will work closely with supporting development teams in the IT function.   Key customers include all functions within HR as well as the Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HR technology projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business needs.
  • Drive innovation within HR technology by identifying and implementing new tools and processes that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Manage the change process associated with HR technology transformations, including stakeholder communication, training, and support strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of HR systems.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, project plans, and status reports.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure that system requirements have been met.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in HR technology to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate technical concepts and project statuses to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in leading HR technology projects, including system implementations and upgrades.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, as well as how technology can be leveraged to improve these areas.
  • Experience with change management principles and methodologies, with a track record of leading successful change initiatives.
  • Excellent project management skills, with certifications such as PMP or Prince2 considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSpft HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or Service Now HRSD
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (i.e. Power BI)
  • Entire Microsoft Office suite products (Teams, OneNote, Word, etc)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project goals.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Washington State and New York State is $103,000 - $191,000. For California, Seattle and New York City, the salary range for this role is $118,000-$219,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
