Schedule: 1st shift. Team is currently working 4/10 M-Th with a potential 8 hours on Friday.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced sheetmetal / structure mechanics with strong mechanical abilities to join our team. The idea candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft sheetmetal, structure and modifications. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting aircraft drawings, fitting, installing and assembly of sheet metal components onto the aircraft structure. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Performing sheetmetal, structural, and mechanical modifications
- Mechanical component disassembly and reassembly, troubleshooting, system operation and reading tech manuals or other written instructions
- Complies iwth established policies, procedures, and standards
- Assists other mechanics / specialists as required
- Complies with all safety, environmental, security, and housekeeping standards
- Complies with training requirements
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 8 years 145 Repair Station experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
- General aviation experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.
