Job Description:
L3Harris Communications & Spectrum Domincance is seeking a candidate for a Sr. Specialist Industrial Security at the Spectrum Superiority (S2) sector in Salt Lake City, UT. In this capacity, the Sr. Specialist Industrial Security is responsible for supporting the FSO in the development, implementation, management and execution of NISPOM established security requirements for all Department of Defense (DoD) classified contracts, manages the facility’s security program ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD254), Program Classification Guides and L3Harris policies/directives. Commensurate with the position of Sr. Specialist Industrial Security, incumbent will be responsible for execution of all NISPOM related security functions including Industrial, Physical, Personnel (PERSEC), Communications (COMSEC), and Information security; comprised of Insider Threat program execution, Counterintelligence, document control, program security support and access control to DoD programs and accredited areas. The Sr. Specialist Industrial Security will provide guidance, direction and assistance to the FSO emphasizing effective security support to ensure security as a business discriminator, effect standardization of execution and continuity of compliance at the Salt Lake City facility.
Essential Functions:

- Incumbent will serve as an alternate interface with Government agencies and Customers, internal & external, with regards to National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and, performs as a strategic business contributor for security programs of national importance.
- The Sr. Specialist Industrial Security will work as a team player, exhibit flexibility, dedication and the expectation of excellence required of a seasoned security professional while working and making decisions independently with general guidance and direction.

Required Qualifications (one of the following):
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Current DoD Secret security clearance eligibility and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance; adjudicated and in-scope U.S. Government T3 investigation
- Candidate must be a US citizen
- Familiarity and experience with SIMS, DISS, e-Qip, NISS, JADE, etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with NISPOM, ICD, JAFAN and RMF execution and application
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Homeland Security, Security Administration, Criminal Justice, Industrial Security Management, Information Systems Security, Information Technology Management or other relevant area of study
- FSO certification via current Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) criteria
- Completed counterintelligence or full scope polygraph
- Experience and knowledge managing COMSEC accounts and/or programs
- Industrial Security Professional (ISP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or other relevant professional security certification.
