Job Description:
Mission Critical Communications (MCC) International Program Manager is responsible for managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of programs through all phases. Capable of managing moderate project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with moderate oversight or direction. Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
Drives offset and program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Works with Sales, customers, and international representatives to determine and identify needs, requirements and new opportunities. Directs the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms and conditions of related contracts. Ensures that all resources such as engineering staffing, production and facilities are available to support the program.
Essential Functions:
- Experience with offset
- Experience managing Transfers of Technology/Production/Know-how
- Experience managing budgets
- Negotiating and managing subcontracts
- Managing program risk
- Reporting progress and financial metrics to regional lead/director
- Ability to travel to Western Europe 10% or more as needed
- Understanding of international shipping terms and ITAR export control regulations
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Qualifications:
- BS/BA required or equivalent military experience and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Master’s degree, MBA preferred
- Familiarity with Defence and Aerospace industry
- PMP Certification, or equivalent, desired
- 4 years direct customer interface experience desired
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $92,500 - $171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
