Job Description:

L3Harris is looking for someone to supervise a talented group of 10+ Applications Engineers as they prep and conduct product demonstrations, provide short-term Field Service Representative support, and deliver top-notch product training. You'll manage departmental quoting, budgeting, manpower loading, scheduling, and day-to-day activities while monitoring key metrics to ensure our goals are met. Your role will be pivotal in prioritizing Applications Engineers support requests, both internationally and domestically, and collaborating with Program Management and Sales to drive our division's pursuit of over $5B in potential sales annually. Essential Functions:

• Demonstrated comprehension of ITAR and Export Compliance regulations and procedures
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading change
• Prior Military experience
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principals (Greenbelt Certification)
• PMP (or project management skills)
• Knowledge of Harris Tactical products
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Proven ability to address challenges head on and provide innovative, cost effective solutions
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal & written skills
• Strong communication and analytical skills, professional demeanor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in Application Engineering.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $82,500 - $153,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
