Job Description:
L3Harris Communication Systems is seeking a candidate for Industrial Security Sr. Supervisor at our Tactical Communication sector’s Rochester, NY facility. In this capacity, the Industrial Security Sr. Supervisor is responsible for supporting the facility’s Sensitive Accountable Items Program ensuring compliance with the National Security Agency (NSA), Global Positioning Systems Directorate (GPSD) and L3Harris policies/directives.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sensitive Accountable Items Program within the Industrial Security business function.
- Manage two large and complex COMSEC Accounts, GPS SAASM Account and an internal audit team
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional business groups to drive compliance and improve processes across sales, production, and engineering departments. Business enabler, aiding and direction to external customers, DoD contractors and military agencies in quickly resolving any program related issues or concerns
- Align goals to drive program execution in achieving key business objectives
- Develop and maintain standardized program processes with interfaces to other functions such as physical inventories including audit and metrics
- Provide guidance, direction and maintain personnel professionally trained to ensure compliance with DoD regulatory agencies
- Work closely with NSA Central Office of Records (COR) and GPSD to ensure records are up to date and in compliance
- Support COMSEC and SAASM operations across our off-site offices and international repair depots located overseas
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years prior related Industrial Security experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related Industrial Security experience. In lieu of a degree, minimun of 10 years of prior related Industrial Security experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience and proficiency with EBS/Oracle system
- Completion of NSA COMSEC Account Manager/Custodian training; experience and knowledge managing COMSEC accounts and/or programs
- Experience with NSA 3-16, GPSD GPU 777 and NISPOM
- Familiar with tactical communication product portfolio
- Manifests self-initiative: compliance focused; customer service orientated
- Experience with Manufacturing/Production/Assembly line or factory operations
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools
- Experience leading, directing and reviewing the work of direct report(s) who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $65,500 - $121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
