Job Description:
The Field Engineer 4/Logistics Advisor reports directly to the L3Harris Site Manager assigned to the Host Country. Works with the RSAF end user on inventory, tracking, shipping, calibration, and repair of the ISR Mission Systems parts, tools, and equipment for the KA-350ER program delivered by L3Harris. Provides On-the-Job (OJT) training for RSAF and L3H assigned personnel. Responsible for attending all required meetings/briefings, and required field training courses. Responsible for properly documenting and tracking spare parts removed and replaced from mission systems delivered by L3 Harris. Responsible to maintain all ISR support tools and equipment delivered to RSAF KA-350ER program end user including support equipment associated with Mission System Trainer, Ground station, and Transportable Ground Station.
Essential Functions:
- Works with the RSAF end user on shipping, repairs, calibration and inventory of KA 350 ISR program mission system parts, tools, and equipment.
- Liason for L3H modified mission systems parts, equipment, and tools on the KA 350 aircraft, and devises a troubleshooting plan to define and resolve problems.
- Provides On-the-Job (OJT) training for RSAF and L3H assigned personnel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical terminology, symbols, codes, and diagrams/schematics/drawings. Including various types of technical orders (T.O.’s)
- Ability to work under extreme weather conditions and assist team members with various tasks when required
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- 4+ years experience aviation logistics and sustainment operations.
- 4+ years experience with digital logbooks, maintenance forecasting, and lifecycle logistics support.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Top Secret/SCI
- U.S. ISR Aircraft Logistics Experience
- Familiarity with electronic aviation maintenance/parts tracking systems.
- Strong understanding of DOD supply chain and logistics support concepts
- Experience directly advising Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) logistics preferred
- Experience living/working overseas/Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
